The lost hero

 Look between the stars *  The Lost hero by Rick Riordan is a really good book. Its about two boys named Jason Grace and Leo Valdez and a girl named Piper McLean. They go on a quest to save Hera. They fly on a giant bronze dragon named Festus(aka Happy the dragon). They must find  the north wind-dude. He tries to kill them, then thinks better of it and tells them to capture some wind spirits and give them to Aeolus, the major wind dude. then Jason finds his long lost sister, Thalia. Then Aeolus tries to kill them(really?) and they get blasted to California.(wheeee!)The they fight a giant named enchiladas and they kill him with a really big lightning bolt. (courtesy of Jason's dad) Then they go to the wolf house and find Hera and to thank Jason, she almost kills him(such a good present!). They find that he is at Percy Jacksons camp, and Percy Jackson is at Jason's Roman camp. The end. *

Ninja Stars

                                           I'm going to show you how to make a ninja star.
Step No. 1   
Get 2 pieces of square paper.

  





Step No. 2

Fold each in half. Unfold.

    

Step No. 3

Fold each half into the center.

   





Step No. 4
Fold in half vertically.

  







Step No. 5
Fold in half horizontally. Unfold

Step No. 6

Take the left piece and fold the bottom half up and to the left.

Take the other half and fold down and to the right.

   

Step No. 7

Do the same with the other piece, but do a mirror image.( bottom part up and to the right,

and top part down and to the left.)

Step No. 8

Flip the left piece over. Take one of the squares, and fold it over to make
a triangle. Do the other square too.

Step No. 9
Do the same thing.

Step No. 10
Take the orange piece and put on top of the pink piece.
Take the triangles on the orange piece and fold them into the pockets of the pink triangles.

Step No. 11
Flip it over. Then do the same thing you did in step 10
THEN YOUR ARE DONE. ENJOY YOUR NINJA STAR.

   
  

ARTEMIS FOWL

Artemis Fowl is a 12 year old boy. But he is a criminal mastermind. He is the heir to an excellent fortune, and he plans to increase that fortune. Little Arty bites off more than he can chew when he interferes with the fairy race, and tries to steal their gold. He captures a LEP (Lower Elements Police) elf named Holly and ransoms her for gold. The LEP are forced to make a time stop and then send in a troll and a dwarf named Mulch Diggums, who has an affinity for digging (hence the name).The LEP find out they have also underestimated Artemis Fowl, when he claims he can escape their time stop and their bomb. The LEP decide that Artemis is bluffing, and they don't realize how smart he actually is. In the end he gives up almost half of his gold, in exchange for his mother's health, who is bedridden.

I would give this book a 10 star rating. I give it 10 stars because the story is so well thought out and the graphics in your head are amazing. If I had to, I might take off half a star because sometimes the story moved too fast. Other than that, this book is amazing.

WILD TIMOTHY

     I read a book called Wild Timothy by Gary.L.Blackwood. Its about a boy named Timothy who goes on a camping trip with his dad. He has always been a kind of wimp, so he is not thrilled. Then one day when he is chopping firewood, he gets lost. He hears his dads voice and he runs towards it, forgetting he has an ax. He cuts his leg and he loses his dad.
Now he must find his father versus his worst opponent... a black bear.

Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code

I recently read a book called Artemis Fowl:The Eternity Code. Its about a supergenius who builds a cube.
This cube can do almost anything, from browsing the Internet to hacking government satellites.
Now imagine giving that technology to a corrupt businessman. Pretty bad huh?
Artemis, an elf named Holly Short, a dwarf name Mulch Diggums and a girl named Juliet Butler.
They need to go to the spiro needle to go get the cube. Read Artemis Fowl to Find out how they get the cube back.

My trip to Outdoor Ed

Hi,
Outdoor ed is/was awesome!
I hiked a mountain!
It was called Pack Monandnock
It was 1,000 feet tall.
I did other stuff too.
We went on a nighttime hike. Our group leaders showed us ways to make light.
We learned three words: bioluminescence, chemiluminescence, and triboluminescence.
 The food at outdoor ed was amazing.The pizza and the brownies were the best.
My entire Outdoor Ed trip was amazing. I will never forget it!
